Well researched, informative, and entertaining, but I take issue with your equating Torulf Jernström with Satan for using psychology to get people's money. Think about it. You curate your channel with an appealing logo, adjust your thumbnails and titles to get attention, post on other platforms to draw people to your channel, etc., presumably because you want our money (indirectly through ads we might click on). In other words, you are using quirks of human psychology to drive people to your videos to make money. Sure, you could reasonably claim you're not as manipulative or dishonest, but you and he are doing essentially the same thing. To say someone is equivalent to a mythical character who condemns people to eternal damnation in the metaphysical world (which many people literally believe in), because he exploits people's weakness to get them to pay money, is overstating your case. If your whole schtick was to be emotional and rile up your audience, that would be one thing, but it doesn't seem so, and so those comments were incongruent and detracted from your presentation.

What I don't understand is how Daigo get's the money if he is spending every waking moment playing a game. He is not using the game to backprofit via being a content creator basing his content about game he plays. In my eyes whales are idiots, because he is why AAA developers think they can get away with doing stupid cash grab mechanic there too, but so far it hasn't worked for them nicely. But back to mobile shit. I can't say I never spent any money on mobile shit, but i healed my self from that addiction, and while I still regret spending money, i use it as a lesson learned the hard way. Nowadays i will only purchase stuff in a mobile game if it is A good value for money, still must be cheep like max $1-2, or to support developers who made a product worth supporting even if I don't keep playing that game. I can't start listing the games I started playing, purchased something and uninstalled the game. That's my contribution to the sanity. just because something is not finding me as a consumer - doesn't nean it's quality shouldn't be rewarded.

Heres the thing, i actually downloaded the game ad that was the bonuses on the right/left and the person saying "What you are seeing right now is actual gameplay" i highly doubt it, sure the barrels are there but really it has homescapes ahh level progress, speaking about homescapes, i hate those ads with a burning passion, cause the ads literally guilt trip like: "oh no! me and my dog are freezing please help!" with the stupidest stare, and the whole style of it is actual garbage and really the same way of just the person playing INTENTIONALLY JUST PISSING PEOPLE OFF WITH THE TERRIBLE CHOICES. Now i could go on forever with the other ads, but theyre really the same thing, like i saw evony's ads possibly during physics class in school, and everyone laughed at how bad it was. The whole story, just dont download them, theyre really just boring ahh games as i uninstalled it in like 10 min after beating like a couple of levels that were as boring as paint drying on a wall. So really, curse you mobile ads, i hope the people who made you *not* have pillows with cold sides

its like the game i played past couple of months they show number 1 donator or player with highest top up. but the game has 72 server which you cannot use your character to another server meaning to say you need to top up again and continue to play coz every top up there's a quest to be complete in a day. one day there's a rumor that one of the top player vanished and did not play although his name stiill on rank. so some say that that player support his top up by the game master or who's own the game. meaning that there is manipulation whoever ranking up makes rank of top up player. they fake just to encourage the player to top up and buy more game currency.

So it's not as bad as some of these clickbaity videos on UA-cam.

I went and downloaded Metal Commando from the original developer because it actually looked kind of good for a mobile game. Edit: And it actually has in the Commodore Engineering logo IN THE GAME on the start screen. Wonder if Indigames3000 managed to cover that up. If they did, then how did they not cover up the buttons for micro transactions? Edit edit: Looking back at the video, yes they did cover up all the logos with a sign that sayz NZT corporation. The real game is kinda fun. It has the Commodore Engineering logo EVERYWHERE. Through the whole game. Like Activision and Neversoft used to do on the PS1 back in the day. Lots of bugs though but mainly in the menus. Some buttons just don't work. Or you hit a button in a menu and all the other buttons stop working. Text smashed into spots too small for it. Stuff like that.

Yes many "Adults" are now immune to these kind of ads, but literally 100s millions of young people are getting mobile phones for the first time, they are the most vulnerable to predatory ads.

I could see people getting fooled when these first came out, but if you're still playing these types of games and spending money, knowing what they are doing to you, you're an idiot.

I would genuinely want to see a team of lawyers dismantle these lousy greedy companies with strict rules for what the ad of a game should be about, how it's supposed to show the main part of the game, not just a random minigame, how they are using the most effective retention methods for addicts so they fall in a spiral etc.. And then the next wave of greedy companies comes and they get shut down again, and again, and again. Jesus, these are actually hurtful to some people that get addicted and need to be halted.
